Behind the name
Bronzeshipping is the second official pairing from the Shipper's List, featuring Malik Ishtar and Dark Malik. Pairings where a character is paired with his darker half tend to incite a lot of confusion, but fanfic writers have found a variety of ways of making pairings like these work "logically." Others don't care for logic, and just have fun with it, because it's considered sexy. Bronzeshipping is so named because Malik Ishtar has "bronze" colored skin; the same is true for his "darker personality," which technically has no body of its (his?) own.
